Katie Buckley brings with her 16 years of experience in education. With a Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education and a Master’s in Social Work from Illinois State University, she has worked with students with special needs as well as developed a STEM - science, technology, engineering and math - program across multiple grade levels.
Throughout her career in public education, Buckley has funded STEM programs by acquiring more than $50,000 in grants and donations. Most recently, Buckley was named the 2019 Ag in the Classroom Teacher of the Year.
Buckley is excited to develop programming for youth throughout McLean County. She is also looking forward to working with all of the 4-H clubs throughout the county.
