Dan Keyt, of Peoria County, has given his time, talents, and energy to the Peoria County 4-H youth for over 30 years. His involvement began as a volunteer when his, now wife of 26 years, Deb, was a 4-H member. Dan has served 10 years as 4-H Show Goat Superintendent and 4-H Auction Committee member. He has been a Shooting Sports Archery instructor and Board Member for 6 years, and serves as Treasurer of the Peoria County 4-H & Extension Foundation Board. He served as co-leader for a 4-H First Lego Robotics team and as a leader for Illinois’ Robotics team at the National 4-H Engineering Competition. Dan’s passion for helping youth learn and have fun is a part of everything he does, making him an outstanding volunteer in the Peoria County 4-H program. Dan and Deb have 3 children whom they have raised to be active members of 4-H.
