4 year member of the Montmorenci Home Ec & Montmorenci Ag 4-H Clubs in Indiana; 21 year leader of the Urbana Town & Country 4-H Club in Champaign County
Dot Hunt enjoyed being a 4-H club leader for 18 years with parents providing assistance. At least one parent of all forty club members was present at 4-H meetings. Countless volunteer hours have been given as Co-Chair of the Tax Referendum Committee, serving on Extension Councils, and organizing the local Extension Foundation. The Champaign County Extension Education Foundation's financial growth resulted from Dot's dedication to developing donors and has resulted in hundreds of youth receiving financial scholarships to 4-H camps. Dot is an Extension advocate, graciously assuming leadership, working tirelessly to accomplish tasks, and encouraging all she encounters.
