4-H youth will showcase their skills in clothing construction, fashion design, and personal presentation in two competition levels: Junior (ages 8-13) and Senior (ages 14-18). Through interviews with judges and a public fashion show, youth build confidence, express individuality, and foster career exploration.
2026 State Fashion Revue Information:
- Who: Youth ages 8 - 18 will compete in categories of Junior (8-13) and Senior (14-18).
- Event Date and Schedule: January 24, 2026
- Location: Heartland Community College | Astroth Community Education Center | 1500 West Raab Road, Normal, IL, 61761
- Registration: Each participant must register via ZSuite and be enrolled in a 4-H club. Promotion from a county event is not required to participate in the state Fashion Revue opportunity. Registration opens October 6 - December 5, 2025.

Q: Can I participate in more than one category?
A: No, to ensure the largest number of 4-Hers can participate while keeping the event within the designated time frame, we are limiting participants to one category.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: No, this event is at no cost to the participants.
Q: How does the judging process work?
A: Each participant will meet individually with a panel of judges to discuss their garment or outfit. Judges evaluate based on the rubric provided in the "Rules, Guidelines, and Scoring" section. The public Fashion Revue stage portion also counts toward a portion of the participant's score.
Q: How long are the interviews?
A: Interviews last approximately 10 minutes per participant.
Q: Will there be a rehearsal for the public Fashion Revue?
A: Yes, a short rehearsal will be held prior to the public showcase to review the stage layout and procedures.
Q: What should I bring on event day?
