Matthew Brandt grew up deeply rooted in 4‑H as a member of the Golden Eagles, where he excelled as a cattle exhibitor and developed strong leadership skills. As an adult, he continued mentoring youth in livestock projects and briefly served as a Livestock Educator with Monroe County Extension. Matthew spent 15 years as Beef Superintendent, helped establish and serve 23 years on the 4‑H Beef Committee, and founded the county’s first 4‑H Livestock Judging Team, leading it for seven years.
