Steve Almburg

Steve Almburg’s voice has echoed through the Kane County Fairgrounds for over four decades—calling bids, sharing stories, and championing generations of 4-H youth. A proud 11-year member of the Sugar Grove Boys Club, Steve began showing cattle in 1964 and has been auctioneering the Blue Ribbon Auction since 1979. His deep 4-H roots stretch across three generations, with his children and now grandchild following in his footsteps. From county fairs to pork chop dinners, Steve’s steady presence, generosity, and love for the program have made him a pillar of Kane County 4-H.
