Rick White

For more than three decades, James "Rick" White has been a steady, humble force in the barns and behind the scenes of Kankakee County 4-H. What began as a way to support his children in the early ’90s has grown into a multigenerational legacy—with Rick now cheering on his seven grandchildren in the program. From co-superintendent of the swine barn to poultry tester and Futures Show founder, Rick does it all quietly, with purpose. His belief is simple and powerful: 4-H is—and always should be—for the kids.
