Pat Showalter

Patricia R. Showalter’s 4-H journey began in Mason County in the 1940s, where she proudly showed a Grand Champion Duroc hog and ran track at the State 4-H Sports Festival. She later served as a 4-H leader in Menard and Mason counties, giving 14 years of guidance to rural youth. Pat also supported 4-H through her work at the county fair office and remains active with the Mason County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. Her life is a testament to community, mentorship, and opportunity.
