At the Scott County Fair in the 1960s, a young Lance Steckel proudly showed his sheep—marking the start of a lifelong connection to 4-H. Today, that same dedication shines through in his work with youth, from helping at weigh-ins to lending his expertise at workshops across Unit 15. A proud grandfather and committed fair board member, Lance has passed down not just skills, but a spirit of service. His quiet leadership continues to shape Scott County 4-H for the better.
