When Donna Douglas helped launch the Master Showman competition in McHenry County, she wasn’t just starting an event—she was planting seeds of confidence in countless young people. A third-generation 4-H alumna, Donna has spent 39 years as a leader, mentor, and behind-the-scenes champion. From mentoring new families to coordinating clinics and serving on livestock committees, she’s touched every corner of the program. Her proudest moments come not from awards, but from the words of a 4-H’er saying, “You helped me believe I could do this.”
