Dennis Drendel

What began as a way to support his daughters soon became a calling for Dennis Drendel. Seventeen years ago, he stepped up to lead the Genoa Prairie Gems—and never stepped away. Even after his daughters graduated, Dennis remained at the helm, ensuring the club stayed strong and youth continued to thrive. With no desire for the spotlight, Dennis quietly did the work—week after week, year after year—because he believes in what 4-H stands for. His steady commitment has shaped a generation of DeKalb County youth.
