Bonita Thomason

Bonita Thomason’s 4-H journey began with Corriedale sheep and homemade recipes—and it’s never really ended. A proud alum of The Challengers, Bonita passed her love for the program on to her children, guiding them through their own 4-H years and cheering them on as they continued the family tradition of raising sheep. Even after her children aged out, Bonita stayed deeply involved—leading cake decorating workshops, mentoring young cooks, and judging food shows with enthusiasm and care. Her legacy in Edwards County is one of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.
