Illinois 4-H

Doug has dedicated much of his life to serving Effingham County through his volunteer work with the Effingham County 4-H program including as a 4-H leader for 25 years of leadership of the Little Wabash Whirlwinds. He has been an active member of the Effingham County Board, Pork Producers, and various other county organizations. He was instrumental in organizing the 4-H BBQ, raising crucial funds and drawing crowds with his famous BBQ sauce. Doug's tireless dedication and support have significantly impacted the community, helping to educate citizens about the value of 4-H and nurturing a new generation of confident, skilled young leaders.
