Valerie is a dedicated 4-H leader, a valued volunteer, and a proud parent of three active 4-H members. She was in 4-H for a short time in her youth but became really active when her eldest daughter joined 4-H Federation. She has given her support and helped the Jo Daviess County 4-H program grow by serving as a 4-H club leader and as a member of our 4-H Awards Committee and Food Stand Committee for over 11 years. Valerie has also served as our 4-H Horse Show Superintendent for 8 years. Valerie does so much behind the scenes for the program and is one of those volunteers that is on speed-dial because she is always willing to lend a hand no matter the circumstance!
