Richanne Nicolai has been an invaluable volunteer to the McHenry County 4-H program for more than 30 years. Throughout those years, she has volunteered for her children and grandchildren’s clubs, as well as mentored youth in sewing, cake decorating, foods, and visual arts projects. As a member of the 4-H sewing committee, Richanne has taught well over 100 4-H members how to sew. She has dedicated many hours to teaching generations of youth sewing as a lifelong skill through group classes and private lessons to the youth of all ages. Most recently, Richanne has added Photography Superintendent to her volunteer role. She was instrumental in transitioning the Photography workshop series to an online format during the pandemic. Richanne’s passion for teaching youth is immeasurable and we are proud to call her one of McHenry County’s finest volunteers!
