Kelly Elias has been a 4-H leader for eleven years. She is a leader of the Clovers and Cloverettes and mentors the club Treasurer. Kelly is also a member of the Clinton County Extension Foundation and serves as the treasurer. Kelly became involved in 4-H thanks to her sister when her children were little. She enjoys participating in the club annual fishing derby and getting to know her 4-H families. She is most proud of the community service that her club does including their annual valentine card delivery at the nursing home. As a 4-H volunteer, she loves making a difference in the lives of the members, supporting them, and encouraging them to try something new and step out of their comfort zone.

Kelly leads by example, her family was a 4-H International Host Family for two years, she believes it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that resulted in a lifelong friendship. Kaori, their host student, not only had an impact on their family, she also provided a great learning experience for our 4-H Federation club to gain a new member and learn about another culture. Kelly recommends being a 4-H host family to everyone.

The experiences and the bonds Kelly has made as a Club leader in 4-H inspired her to volunteer for a mission trip to Haiti. She believes in making a difference and wanted to spread the messages she taught her members to those in Haiti. Kelly has a big heart and is willing to step up and help whenever asked. We are grateful for her time and dedication to supporting our 4-H members!
