When 4-H alumni of Lawrence County think back on their days of membership one name comes to mind as a constant in their memories and that is Jane Inyart. She was a 10-year member of the Lukin Stitch and Stir 4-H club where she took various projects. Jane later increased her 4-H
experience by being a leader of the Clever Clovers 4-H club for 13 years. Her 4-H experiences led her to a career path of 21 years as the Extension Program Coordinator in Lawrence. Jane also had the opportunities to cross county lines and help in Richland and Wabash throughout her career. 4-H was and is a big part of Jane’s life with over 50 years of experience as a member, parent volunteer, leader and employee. She enjoyed meeting and working with all the members and seeing their finished projects. Though the job of coordinating events such as Horse Camp, Fairs, or overnight camps was challenging, Jane always rose to the occasion and made the event fun while providing knowledge to the participants. She has touched so many lives throughout her life-long involvement in 4-H, and she still remains a strong supporter and advocate of the 4-H Program.
