Derra grew up in Edwards County. She followed the footsteps of her dad and two older sisters, who were all members of the Yankees 4-H Club. This has continued on in the family. She took numerous projects, but the love of sheep carries on with her family today. She has 2 daughters that, also, have sheep projects. She was named the Edwards County 4-H member of the year, during her senior year in high school. Derra is now the leader of the Yankees 4-H Club, which will be 15 years this fall. Derra is known for her great personality and her willingness to keep the Yankees club strong. She is an asset to Edwards County 4-H!
