Carol led the Cameron 4-H club for 11 years. She made sure that all members completed their project requirements. Citizenship, leadership, and community involvement were emphasized by Carol. She led her 4-H’ers to participate in local, county, regional, and share programs. Carol continued her support of 4-H through Warren County HCEA and the community. She is always interested in what 4-H is doing. When able, she helped with workshops and special events. The contributions Carol Hanson made through her leadership in 4-H and other Extension and community programs, supporting 4-H, entitles her to this honor into the 4-H Hall of Fame.
