Robert “Bob” Gallagher has been a longtime volunteer of the McHenry County 4-H program. Bob was instrumental in starting the MCYTT – Tech Team SPIN Club in 2003 with co-leader Don Strauss. The purpose of the club was to encourage educational opportunities to learn about technology, provide real-life technology experience for MCYTT members while encouraging leadership opportunities and growth in marketable technology skills. Bob also served as a leader of the Crystal Clovers 4-H Club with his wife Judy from 2006-2013. He was a 6-year Director on the McHenry County 4-H Youth Foundation in which he continues to provide technical support to the annual fundraising event. Today, Bob continues to volunteer as Tech Team leader and serves as Computer Science and Technologies Superintendent. The Robert Gallagher Family has established a scholarship for local 4-H members that have participated in the Computer Science areas for 3 years or longer through the McHenry County 4-H Youth Foundation.
