Martha has been involved in 4-H for most of her life. Martha became involved first as a 4-H member and then as a 4-H parent and 4-H club leader. Martha was leader of the Horse Hustlers 4-H club from 1974 until 1989. Since 1989 Martha has either served as the 4-H Horse show superintendent or on the horse show committee. Then from 2008 and on Martha again took on the role of Horse Show Superintendent for Peoria County. She is also a member of the 4-H Auction Committee. Martha has shared her knowledge and skills in the horse project with many youths over the years. She is a great mentor and dedicated supporter of the 4-H program. Martha has a warm and friendly personality and Peoria County is grateful to have her as a volunteer.
