Jessie Crews was a 10-year member of Clark County 4-H. She was a member of the AMA and Busy Bodies 4-H Clubs. She also took a variety of projects with her favorites being photography, clothing and foods. 4-H Federation, camps and conferences were integral to her high school years. Jessie’s experiences in 4-H led her to a career in Extension, serving as a Youth Development Educator for 35 years, 2 years in Crawford County and 33 years in Clark County. During that time, Crews served as President of the IEPYE Association and chair of the Illinois 4-H Youth Development team. She also served several terms on the Illinois 4-H Foundation. Jessie has touched so many lives through her life-time involvement in 4-H in our county as well as across the state. She remains a strong supporter and advocate of the Clark County 4-H program.
