Bob Walberg was a 10-year Boone County 4-H member and he enjoyed attending 4-H camp and 4-H Congress. He also was the Boone County 4-H King for a year. As a 4-H Alumni Bob served as chair of the Extension Youth Committee for 4 years. Most notably, Bob has been the Boone County 4-H Sheep Superintendent for 44 years, a role he acquired after serving as assistant Superintendent. Bob assists with the sheep weigh in in the spring, preparing the barn and show ring for the fair and helps 4-H'ers with their sheep projects. In addition, Bob serves on the Boone County Auction Association, which provides the opportunity for 4-H'ers to auction an animal off at the fair. Bob always supports the 4-H program and the youth involved in it.
