Theresa and Paul McHenry have been 4-H volunteers in Woodford County for 19 years. 4-H has been a part of their family going back to when Theresa was in 4-H as a member of the Medina Minutemen and Maids 4-H Club in Peoria County. When their son was 10 years old, they decided to enroll him in 4-H because they knew the program would benefit him in many ways. Four years after joining the Clover Patch Kids 4-H Club, Theresa and Paul decided to become leaders when the club was on the brink of disbanding. Following that year, Paul started up the Clover Patch Kids Sunshine Cloverbuds club, one of the first Cloverbud groups in the area. Their clubs have been going strong ever since. 4-H is forever grateful to their strong leadership and dedication to the members of Woodford County. We will miss them as leaders, but hope to still see them around the program as they have grandchildren now entering 4-H.
