Raised on a dairy farm, Sherry was a ten year 4-H member in Scott County, Iowa. She served 35 years with the University of Illinois as a 4-H youth development educator for Dewitt, Greene, and Piatt counties. Sherry states that, "4-H provides youth the opportunity to enhance and discover their talents."
