David and Lisa met while working together promoting 4-H at the Illinois State Fair. Dave devoted 27 years to University of Illinois Extension, and Lisa an assistant home economics advisor, before finishing her career as a family life educator. Since retiring, both have served as judges at several local fairs and at the Illinois State Fair.
