Tom is an enthusiastic volunteer and supporter of the 4-H Shooting Sports program. In 2011 he became a level 1 Certified Shotgun Instructor and in 2014 he became a level 2 Certified Shotgun Instructor. With his passion for shooting sports, it has allowed him to pass that love on to a great group of 4-H’ers.
He inspires his members to achieve at their highest level, taking teams to State level competition for the past 3 years. He has built a club reaching an entirely new audience and his club members are actively recruiting more members for their club which speaks to their sense of belonging and ownership of their program through excellent leadership. He is a great example of a positive adult influence on his members. Tom is always eager to volunteer for other events to get more youth excited about shooting sports and conservation. He's also a fantastic baker!
