For over 45 years Sandra I Davis, Unit 5 County Director, has served through 4-H. Sandra is well deserving of this award since she has served in every facet of 4-H. Starting as a 4-H member winning state awards for her sewing, continuing on to be a leader in LaSalle County and finally as a mentor to her grandkids. She has always served on 4-H committees wherever needed. Sandra started working for 4-H as a home economist in LaSalle County, and lead a 4-H community club starting in 1989 during this time. She still serves 4-H through helping her grandkids 4-H club as a project leaders, sewing project youth, Federation 4-H youth, working on 4-H committees and supporting every event that Kendall County 4-H and Unit 5 does. Sandra won the Kendall County 4-H Alumni Award in 2017.
