Mike L. Hennenfent of Rural Knoxville was a ten year member of the Henderson Aggies 4-H Club. He served four years on the Knox County 4-H Federation board and as president in 1961. He received the 4-H Key Club Award and attended 4-H Club Congress in Chicago. His 4-H tractor project was selected number one in state. He was very active as a junior leader and coordinator for several years of the county tractor program. He served six years on the Knox County Extension Council and was chairman for two years. From 2011-2017 he served on the Knox County 4-H and Extension Foundation board and was chairman five years. During his tenure, the foundation organized their annual fund raising drive.

Mike has retired from the management of Twin Hills Farm, but helps his two sons, Bill and Matt, as they are the current operators. His family has been very active in 4-H for four generations, and have a total of 332 years of membership in Knox County 4-H. In 2008 the family received the 4-H Family Spirit Award. He has attended a portion of the county 4-H shows for 63 years. 4-H has been a very important part of his life.
