Mary Carben has been involved with 4-H both as a member and adult volunteer leader. Mary is a returning leader to Cook County as she served as leader of the Junior Leader Group and Diplomatic Corps. Her newest club (Bridgeview Clover Bunch) includes her grandchildren, and members of her church. Mrs. Carben has served as the Sewing SPIN Club Leader in Midlothian, IL and Bridgeview, IL, donating fabric, materials and supplies for both groups to enjoy an experiential learning adventure. She has spearheaded activities for the Cook County fair every year for the past 4 years and donated the hot dogs too. She has provided hot dogs, popcorn and snacks for the Cook County 4-H Kickoff event. Finally, Mary and her husband Randy are members of the South Suburban 4-H Fair Association and 4-H Fair Steering Committee.
