John Marvin "Bud" and Deb Hobbs have been essential 4-H advocates to many youth. They have been a part of the McDonough County 4-H program for the past 63 years. Bud started his 4-H journey as a member of the Prairie City Livewires, later becoming the club leader and continued serving on various committees. Deb’s expertise in cake decorating has made her a crowd favorite for General Show judge. Together, Bud and Deb have played a huge role in our 4-H Beef program. They have inspired youth and have been a valued resource to so many pursuing agriculture careers. Bud and Deb have three adult children and four grandchildren who they supported in the McDonough County 4-H program. We are honored to nominate such a dedicate duo into the 4-H Hall of Fame!
