It is an understatement to say that Joanne's life is the personification of the 4-H Pledge. Her service to 4-H included: club leader, teaching-cooking and sewing, and judging projects at county fairs and the IL State Fair. Her passion for volunteering stretched into the Virginia community -working on the BBQ committee, the Cass County Genealogy Association and her church, as Church president...just to name a few. She continues her service today as the Director of the Cass County Food Pantry, an all-volunteer organization that serves 350 families each month. Yes, the 4-H Pledge, Head, Heart, Hands and Health would be the best description of the life of Joanne Anderson.
