Stan and Jeanne Krutmeier are being nominated for the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame for their dedication, enthusiasm and drive to support youth in the beef cattle industry. Stan and Jeanne have served as the Adams County Beef Superintendents for 21 years at the Adams County Fair. In this role, they worked to help set up the 4-H Market Sale at the Adams County Fair to financially support 4-H youth. Stan and Jeanne have 3 children who were active in 4-H and 6 grandchildren all of whom have been active in 4-H and  showing cattle with the Burton Flyers 4-H Club. Stan and Jeanne were recognized as the 2014 Adams County Beef Producers of the Year. Stan is an Illinois Beef Member and served on the board for 2 years, and he also was the 4-H volunteer of the year in 2000. Stan and Jeanne also served on Representative John Shimkus' agriculture advisory board for 10 years.
