Jan Curry represents the best of Stark County 4-H. She started her 4-H career in Iowa where she developed skills in sewing, cooking, interior design and agriculture-related fields. When she moved to Illinois, she continued to be involved in 4-H—as a parent to two members and as a 14-year leader of the Toulon Farmers & Farmerettes. After her children graduated, she shifted roles and became a fair superintendent and volunteer extraordinaire. Jan is the type of person who can do anything and do it well. She is also one of the most kind, generous, and giving human beings you'll ever meet. She can always be counted on to lend a hand, help fix a problem, and encourage youth. Her dedication to the program and people of Stark County make her most deserving of this Hall of Fame honor.
