Doreen was a 10-yr member and 15-yr leader in 4-H. She has fond memories exhibiting at the state fair and staying in the un-air-conditioned 4-H dorm. Doreen has been an outstanding club leader, show superintendent, and fair judge. Her mother, father in-law, and mother in-law as well as all four of her siblings were all 4-H members. She is also following a tradition, her mother Rita Mills was a 2014 Hall of Fame winner. About her greatest accomplishments, she says: "My greatest accomplishment is that my children Kaitlyn and Perry are still involved in 4-H and are adult leaders themselves.”
