When a new leader was needed for the Marine Stars Jr. Ag Club, Connie graciously stepped up to help a friend to keep the club going. Connie was a 4-H member in her youth and became a great asset working with 4-H members as a leader for 15 years. She raised two of her own children in 4-H, is now assisting her grandson, and is waiting for her granddaughter to be old enough so she can assist her as well. Connie’s husband, Marvin, has also been a great help with the club through the years. Those who have worked close with Connie have all learned a lot under her care, great support and laughter. Connie continues great support to both youth and volunteers with the club even after her “retirement” as a leader.
