“Cheri is 4-H” was quoted by local 4-H participants who knew her best and Pike County Extension thinks this is a great description of her passion for 4-H throughout her life. Cheri was a 4-H member of the Pittsfield Lucky Clovers and of the Pittsfield Producers and she was also a 4-H Leader of the Pittsfield Producers for 12 years. Cheri is still involved in 4-H through the Pike County 4-H Foundation as a board member since 1992. She has also served as a 4-H & youth council vice-president and member for 10 years. Some of the special projects and awards Cheri’s club has worked on or received through her 4-H career as a leader was facilitating a $5,000.00 fundraiser for the Pike County Courthouse Handicap Accessible program, the State Fair Governor’s Award and several state awards in Agriculture.
