10 year member of the Winslow Winners & Winslow Rivals 4-H Clubs; 22 year leader of the Lena Live Wires 4-H Club

Kathy Baumgartner has been an amazing volunteer and 4-H supporter in Stephenson County for over 22 years.  Kathy has volunteered to help in the Extension Office for several years as she is aware of the reduced number of staff and is interested in helping maintain the level of programming.  Kathy's involvement in Stephenson County 4-H has contributed to the success of the program.  In addition to being a club leader, she is the 4-H Superintendent of Computers and of the Cat Show.  She serves on the Volunteer Screening Committee and the Leadership & Awards Committee which plans the Volunteer Banquet and Achievement Night.  She also was coordinator of the Farm Safety Day for 14 years and served as the 4-H Camp nurse 2 years.  She received the 4-H Volunteer of the Year award in 1998 and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2006.
