10 year member of the Dogwood Blossoms 4-H Club; 17 year leader of the Space Age Pioneers and Stylistics 4-H Clubs

McLean County's Jeannea Shier is a third generation 4-H Leader, involved in 4-H for 42 years!  She was an Extension Advisor for Crawford and McLean Counties.  She has volunteered her time on many county committees, including Mosbacher Scholarship and 4-H Show.  Jeannea (JA-NAY) has judged at various county fairs and at the Illinois State Fair, where she also served as State 4-H Fair Superintendent. In addition to coordinating/teaching 12 regional/state sewing workshops, she continues to share her love for sewing with many youth. She and her husband met while chaperoning at State 4-H Conference; children David and Megan were 11 year 4-H members.
