6 year leader of the St. Marie's Chore Boys and the Wabash Raiders

Charles Koenig began his Extension career as an Ag Advisor for Japser County in 1963.  In 1967, he accepted the position of Farm Advisor in Wabash County, where he retired after many years of service. During his years with Extension, he was instrumental in organizing 4-H Federations, 4-H Clubs, Project Schools, and the Wabash County Youth Foundation.He was very enthusiastic in working with 4-H youth in such activities as archery, gun safety and camping.  Because of his efforts, many youth received awards and benefited from his interest, support and dedication.
