8 year member of Helping Hands of Jackson County; 37 year leader of Campbell Hill Cherokees of Jackson County
After JoAn completed her education and started a family she thought she’d start a 4-H club so her children could reap the benefits of 4-H. That was 37 years ago. Club members now include her grandchildren. JoAn is a tremendous asset to 4-H. She is involved in a wide array of 4-H programs and activities. JoAn donated funds in honor of her mother to establish an annual full 4-H Camp Scholarship. JoAn does whatever is within her means to ensure the 4-H legacy and tradition is carried on in Jackson County.
