Robert Lyford began his 4-H experience at the age of 10 when he joined the Beaver Valley Clippers Club. He held many club and Federation offices, was a Junior Leader, participated on livestock judging teams, and earned the Key Club and I Dare You awards. Bob has served as a leader of the Beaver Valley Clippers Club for the past 45 years. In addition to being a club leader, he serves as the 4-H Swine Show Superintendent, has served for many years on the Extension Program Council-where he is the current Chair, and serves on the 4-H Standing, Food Stand and Auction Committees. He has never thought of his involvement with 4-H as work, but as a privilege.
