A native of Knox County Illinois, E. Louise Olson Rogers was a 10 year member of the Oneida Mix ‘n’ Fix and Oneida Livestock 4-H Clubs.  These youth experiences led her to the University of Illinois and the College of Agriculture (and 4-H House Sorority!). Upon graduation with a degree in Home Economics, Louise began a  24 year career with Northern Illinois Gas Company/Nicor, an energy company headquartered in Naperville Illinois.  Notably she  served as a Division Vice President and completed her career as Vice President of Sales.  Rogers earned her MBA from Northern Illinois University during this period.

Her passion for the  University of Illinois and the College of ACES, led Louise back to her alma mater, joining the staff of the College of ACES Advancement office.  She established ACES Advancement’s first full time presence at the Illini Center located in Chicago.  Louise would later return to campus serving  as Associate Dean of Advancement until her retirement.  During her tenure at ACES, she was instrumental in transitioning the Illinois 4-H Foundation into the College of ACES and University of Illinois Foundation.

Louise calls Urbana, Illinois home but enjoys time in Door County Wisconsin and Destin Florida.
