Amy worked as a 4-H Program Coordinator for the University of Illinois Extension for twenty years. In this role, she worked with youth, volunteers, teachers, and community members, helping coordinate various programs and events including 4-H Shooting Sports, Teen Teachers, 4-H Ambassadors, and the   4-H shows.. She was particularly loved for her work as an Ag Literacy Coordinator, where she provided engaging lessons that connected agriculture to the real world for students and teachers. Amy stated, “Seeing these children excited to learn about ag and seeing that I had an impact on them is the most rewarding part."
