Serving as a livestock ambassador for 4-H helped prepare me for my career path by being around other individuals learning how to communicate and working with a group of people.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to enter your career path?
Stay with it and never give up, always be willing to do more than what's asked of you .
What did you learn through 4-H that benefits you today?
I learned in 4-H that winning or coming out on top is not always rewarding. The mistakes we make help us do better the next year and keep on trying so we never give up.
How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
4-H contributed to my leadership skills by allowing me to be around others with the same passion and drive to succeed, and has played a big part in how I communicate with others
What advice would you give a current 4-H member?
Keep on trying, winning isn't everything, being in the top in a show will come with time and practice
