Basic dance skills are presented through games and activities that help facilitate an increase in physical activity, a healthy lifestyle, and decrease potential injury. The groundwork for healthy habits and exploration of multiple dance styles take place over multiple sessions.

For Youth Grades Elementary School Age Youth
Youth will:

Get Up and Dance! is designed as a series of learning activities that culminate into a performance experience in which youth collaborate to develop a short dance routine.
Adaptations to this program can be made based on time availability, but a minimum of eight sessions are expected to ensure the objectives of the curriculum are met.
