10 year member of the Dry Hills Puellaes 4-H Club; 15 year leader of the Gorham/Jacob Eager Beavers 4-H Club; 35 year employee of Jackson County Extension

Marilyn Gannon was an obvious choice for Jackson County when choosing an inductee for the 2009 4-H Hall of Fame.  Marilyn played an integral role in the development and support of the Jackson County 4-H program for nearly five decades. Marilyn started out as a 4-H member of the Dry Hill Puellaes 4-H Club as a young girl. As a young adult, Marilyn helped form and then served as the leader to the Gorham/ Jacob Eager Beavers 4-H club.  In addition, Marilyn has dedicated 36 years to 4-H well working at the Jackson County Extension Office.  Marilyn always been a hard worked and she always does it with a smile on her face!  Jackson County 4-H would not be what it is today without Marilyn Gannon!
