Illinois 4-H

Windell has been a dedicated volunteer and 4-H supporter for over 30 years, beginning his journey as a 4-H member at age 8 with the Menard County Club based in Fancy Prairie. He has held several leadership roles, including the Menard County 4-H Rabbit Superintendent, Menard County 4-H Goat Superintendent, and Rabbit Workshop Care and Exhibit Leader for Logan, Menard, and Sangamon Counties. His daughter followed in his footsteps, joining the West Menarders Club, which is still active today. Windell's favorite 4-H projects included rabbits, swine, and gardening.
