Illinois 4-H

John served as a 4-H Youth Development Educator in Grundy County and went on to serve Will and Kankakee counties for 15 years.  He continues to give back to Illinois 4-H after retirement serving as a judge in three counties each summer, judging at the Illinois State Fair for the entire show, judging the state public speaking contest and state awards.  John is committed to helping youth grow. John states, “I volunteer to give back to the families that have supported 4-H and Extension and our other programs.  I am proudest when I see young 4-Hers move up to become leaders and good citizens.”
