Elizabeth has been a volunteer with 4-H for 17 years, leading the Midway Marvels 4-H Club and participating in events such as 4-H Fun Day and General Projects Day. The Russo family has also traveled the world and hosted international exchange students through the 4-H International Program. Elizabeth became a 4-H leader following in her mother's footsteps and involves her family in 4-H because she values the opportunities it offers youth. Elizabeth stated, “What I enjoy the most about being a 4-H leader is watching the members grow and mature.  Seeing how excited they become as they participate in new experiences and acquire skills they can use for a lifetime to develop into confident leaders is rewarding.”
